World Enduro Championship – hard-core off-road riding for serial production bikes.

The World Enduro Championship (WEC) is among the toughest test off-road professionals can subject themselves to.
Normally it consists of 2 races per weekend (on Saturday and on Sunday) during which riders are on their bikes for up to eight hours. A race generally runs for 4 laps of 50-100 kilometre, in each of which there are three to four special tests which have to be taken (<10 min duration): cross test, enduro test, extreme test.

There are specified times for the laps: anyone who exceeds these times gets a penalty; special tests are timed – and here every second counts.
On both days, a separate but identical race is run in which riders set off in groups of four at one-minute intervals.
